Tsuchiya Koitsu – Castle in Nagoya
Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1937. The current print was printed after circa 1960.
Image size (excluding margins): 39.2 * 25.8 cm (15.4 * 10.2 in).
The print is in very good state. There are mild wrinkles inside the image. There are two pinholes in the left margin. On the back remnants of a previous mounting are present, shining through to the front in the upper left and right corners in the margin, and in the bottom of the image.

Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) was a Japanese woodblock print artist. He is known for his high-quality Shin hanga prints, excelling in the depiction of light and shadow and the expression of mood.
