Description
The design is very similar to Kawase Hasui's print Evening at Soemoncho, Osaka, and could very well be a knockoff. Not enough is known about the provenance of the design to be entirely sure about this. If it is a knockoff indeed, then it was one that was technically very well done.
Condition notes
The print is in excellent condition. There is a pinhole in the left margin and three remnants of a previous mounting, attached to the front of the margin instead of the back as is more usual.
