Nishida Tadashige – Missing 2 – White Cat (Tadashige Nishida – Nigasu 2)

Original woodblock print. First edition in 2002. The current print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist (21/120).

The White Cat depicted here is the second from the Missing series by Nishida Tadashige. The White Cat tries to catch a bee but, as indicated by the title of the series, misses and the bee manages to escape.

The print is in good state, but please note that there are many wrinkels in the margin, and also the image itself is not completely flat. Beneath the bee there is a small imperfection in the gold as well.
