Nishida Tadashige – Deep Meditation 2 – White Cat (Tadashige Nishida – Senshi banko)

Original woodblock print. First edition in 2006. The current print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist (51/120).

The White Cat depicted here is the second from the Deep Meditation series by Nishida Tadashige. As indicated by the title the cat, having its eyes closed the way cats do, appears to be in what could possibly be a state of deep meditation.

The print is in good state, but please note that there is a small rough area in the paper at the very top in the middle. This does not border on the image itself however.

Image size (excluding margins): 38 * 24.5 cm.
