Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1939. The current print was printed circa 1990.
Image size (excluding margins): 39.5 * 26.2 cm (15.6 * 10.3 in).
The print is in good condition. There is an imperfection in the lower left corner of the image. There is matburn all around the edges of the image. On the back various remnants of previous mountings remain.

Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) was a Japanese woodblock print artist. He is known for his high-quality Shin hanga prints, excelling in the depiction of light and shadow and the expression of mood.
