Description
Teruhide Kato is a master in finding novel compositions, combining diverging colors and in blending realism and abstraction. He utilised his mastery of all these three elements in the print shown here. The viewer is looking from close to the Nanzenji temple, through it, to the colorful autumn leaves of the trees behind, all underneath a full moon that can be seen shining above the surrounding hills.
