Description
Snow is falling down onto the Kiyomizu temple in Kyoto. The Kiyomizu temple is both a popular temple for visitors as well as for woodblock print artists to depict. For some reason the perspective Teruhide Kato uses here was not often used however, and it manages to convey the impressiveness of the building well. The design is relatively simple compared to other prints by Teruhide Kato and, perhaps in part because of that, seems to possess a calm atmosphere.
