Shintaro Okazaki may not have created enough designs to establish a universally recognizable style, but it's evident that if he had, it would have been entirely unique among Shin-hanga artists. The keylines for the current design are relatively simple, but the ingenious interplay of blue-green-purple hues renders it an almost magical night scene, not encountered in any other Shin-hanga print.
