Description
A kingfisher flies past a series of crimson lotus plants, a subject uniting the kacho-e specialties of Rakusan Tsuchiya. The original woodblocks of this print were acquired by the publisher Unsodo in recent years and subsequently used to print the edition shown here. The printing instructions were no longer accompanying the woodblocks, but the result is impressively close to the first editions.
Condition notes
The print is in very good condition. There are spots at the very edge of the outer margin.
