Description
A kingfisher can be seen flying past a series of Crimson Lotus plants, bringing together the specialties of displaying both birds and flowers by Rakusan Tsuchiya. The original woodblocks of this print were acquired by the publisher Unsodo in recent years and subsequently used to print the edition shown here. The printing instructions were no longer accompanying the woodblocks, but the result is impressively close to the first editions.
