Noel Nouet – Shinobazu Pond

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1936. The current print was printed between 1981 and 1995.

Image size (excluding margins): 36.4 * 24.1 cm (14.3 * 9.5 in).

The print is in excellent state, but shows signs of aging, with the outer side of the margins coloring. The image itself is unaffected however.

Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) was a Japanese woodblock print artist, active in the 1930s and 1940s.

Kawase Hasui (1883 - 1957) is one of the most famous Japanese woodblock artists and perhaps the foremost representative of the Shin-Hanga movement.
