Description
Cat - Air is a relatively old cat print by Nishida Tadashige. Unfortunately, it has been damaged, but luckily enough mostly outside of the image itself. There are many strong wrinkels and brown spot in the white areas. Please see the pictures for close-ups of this. An interesting aspect of its age is that it provides a look into the development of Nishida Tadashige and his cat prints, with the cat being quite different in style from his later cats. The elment that makes Nishida Tadashige cats so impressive, the visibility of the personality and character of the cat through its appearance, can easily be seen already however.
Condition notes
The print is in fair condition. The print has a lot of wrinkles, many through the image as well. There are also significant brown spots in the image.
