Koho Shoda – Canal by the Moonlight

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published between 1910 and 1930. The current print was printed between 1938 and 1963.

Image size (excluding margins): 25.2 * 18.6 cm (9.9 * 7.3 in).

The print is in very good condition. There are very small printing imperfections present, such as a tiny irregularity on the left above the horizon.

Koho Shoda (1871 – 1946) was a Japanese woodblock print artist. His prints exemplified the spirit of the Shin-hanga movement and are widely sought after to this day.
