Kawase Hasui – Shichiri Beach

The current print is offered on behalf of a long-time Dutch collector. This does not change anything for customers wishing to buy, except that the print will only be available for a fixed period of time.

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1930. The current print is from an early, post-war edition, carrying the Watanabe 6mm seal.

Image size (excluding margins): 23.7 * 36.4 cm (9.3 * 14.3 in).

The print is in very good condition, retaining its colors well. The title and artist name that were initially written in pencil in the lower margin have been removed. On the back remnants of a previous mounting remain at the top corners.
