Kawarazaki Shodo – Adonis and Bamboo (Shodo Kawarazaki – Fukujyuso)

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1958. The current print was printed in the 20th century, 2nd half.

Image size (excluding margins): 36.5 * 24.4 cm (14.4 * 9.6 in).

The print is in very good condition. There is a big spot in the left margin.

Kawarazaki Shodo (1889-1973) was a painter and woodblock artist. He designed many flower prints for publisher Unsodo, that are still popular today.
