Ito Yuhan – Boats in the Sunset Glow

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published between 1930 and 1950. The current print was printed between 1990 and 2000, using the original woodblocks.

The current design might be the one Ito Yuhan is most well known for. A keyblock was used during the creation of the design, but subsequently not used during printing, leading to a warm and watercolor like print.

During the years a lot of freedom has been left to the various printers and the colors vary quite starkly between the various editions.
Image size (excluding margins): 37.2 * 24.6 cm.

The print is in very good condition.
