Description
Women descend late in the evening, bringing back wood on their backs. Though laborious, it seems as if they are being watched over by the statue of the Buddhist god Jizo, beneath a full moon.
Condition notes
The print is in very good condition. The paper has aged slightly, and an inscription appears in the margin, but far from the image itself. It is mounted to a passe-partout, and printed on very thin, translucent Japanese tissue paper.
