Description
Women descend late in the evening, bringing back wood on their backs. Though laborious, it seems as if they are being watched over by the statue of the Buddhist god Jizo, beneath a full moon.
Condition notes
The print is in very good state. The paper has aged slightly, and a note has been written in the margin, but far from the image itself. It is mounted to a passe-partout, and has been printed on very thin, transparent Japanese tissue paper.
