Hajime Namiki – Tree scene 82

The condition is excellent, but the print contains an imperfection in the margin, bordering the image itself. Above the second tree from the right, there is a discoloration visible. When looking at the back of the print, it seems that this might be the result of the ink that is applied to the darker parts of the trees. In most areas the discoloration is not visible due to the darker ink and the surrounding silver, but at the margin there is nothing covering it, so it is still visible. It could be matted out, but then it would be most logical to not leave a margin visible when framing the print. This is entirely possible, but also depends on personal preference.
