Arai Yoshimune

新井芳宗 · 1863–1941

Arai Yoshimune (1863 - 1941) was a son of ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Yoshimune I, and studied under Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. He worked with publisher Hasegawa/Nishinomiya on woodblock print illustrations of Japanese fairy tale books, and later also on Shin-hanga designs by the same publisher.
