Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) – Kyoto Maruyama (Takemura)
Original woodblock print. First published circa 1930s. The current print was printed in the Showa period (1926 – 1989).
The current design is one of two postcard-size versions of one of Tsuchiya Koitsu’s most popular designs, Spring Snow, Kyoto Maruyama, in oban format.
Image size (excluding margins): 13.2 * 9.0 cm (5.2 * 3.5 in).
The print is in very good state. There are two irregularities near the top of the tree. On the back remnants of a previous mounting remain.
