Japanese woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published between 1923 and 1936. The current print was printed circa 1935.

The current print is a knockoff of Takahashi Shotei’s Evening at Shinagawa.

Image size (excluding margins): 37.4 * 16.6 cm (14.7 * 6.5 in).

The print is in very good state, with some aging spots in the margins.

Kawase Hasui (1883 - 1957) is one of the most famous Japanese woodblock artists and perhaps the foremost representative of the Shin-Hanga movement.

Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) was a Japanese woodblock print artist, active in the 1930s and 1940s.
