Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1928. The current print was printed in the Showa period (1926 – 1989).

The print is in good state. On the back remnants of a previous mounting to a postcard remain, and there is a note in pencil.

Lilian May Miller was born in Tokyo to an American family, with her father being a diplomat. She was schooled in art from an early age and became active in woodblock printing later.
