Kawase Hasui – The Road to Nikko

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1930. The current print was printed circa 1950.

Image size (excluding margins): 36.3 * 23.8 cm (14.3 * 9.4 in).

The print is in good state, but has discolored. This is most pronounced in the trees, that have become less green and more bluish. The paper has aged. On the back there is a piece of paper attached, specifying the art shop where the print must have been sold somewhere near the 1950s.
