Kawase Hasui – Hall of the Golden Hue, Hiraizumi (Hasui Kawase – Hiraizumi Konjikido)

Original woodblock print. The first edition of this design was published in 1957. The current print was printed in the Reiwa period (2019 – present).

This Kawase Hasui print was his last work, but he was unable to see the final proofs. Publisher Watanabe finished printing and prints were distributed at a memorial service held for Kawase Hasui a 100 days after his passing.

Image size (excluding margins): 36.3 * 23.9 cm (14.3 * 9.4 in).

The print is in excellent condition.
