Ayaoka Yushin (1846 - 1910) is an artist about whom little is known, besides the artworks left to us. He was a painter, a woodblock artist, and a student of Shibata Zeshin. His prints are grounded in the Ukiyo-e school, even though he was active late in the 19th century.
